In the streets of Verona, yesterday, a deadly sword fight took place, involving Tybalt, Romeo, Mercutio, and Benvolio, reason being, Tybalt was angry with Romeo for going to the Capulet ball and Mercutio was protecting Romeo so he became fired up and had the want to fight Tybalt. Tybalt was absolutely furious about Romeo going to the Capulet ball. Mercutio, being like an older brother towards Romeo, was trying to fight his battle for him and spouted off to Tybalt. Tybalt, being one that doesn’t handle mean or rude comments well, would not stand for that. Things were getting a little steamy in between the two feuders, so Romeo stepped in to separate them. Tybalt couldn’t stand it anymore so he leaned around Romeo and stabbed Mercutio with his sword. Romeo was irate with Tybalt for killing one of his friends, so Romeo took his sword and killed Tybalt. After all of this took place Prince Escalus showed up and was fuming. Mercutio was a blood relative of Prince Escalus. Prince Escalus showed up at the recent crime scene having a mixture of feelings, sadness and frustration. He was also extremely upset because of the things that went on in the streets of Verona. As a result of Tybalt killing Mercutio and Romeo stabbing and killing Tybalt, Prince Escalus banishes Romeo from the city of Verona. He will never be able to walk the streets of Verona again, without breaking the law. This is such a terrible tragedy that was brought upon this city.
