She is the light that brightens my dark life
Although a Capulet, I don't regret
That I shall have her, soon, to be my wife.
Her eyes sparkle like the stars in the sky
Her hair, as soft as the touch of a child
I will love her until the day I die
Or else my mind will be driven so wild.
If only we were alone on this earth
We could love each other without a care
Yet she does not know what her love is worth
And my life without her, I could not bear.
My love for her is as deep as the sea
I hope that she feels as much love for me.
